Plandome is a village in Nassau County, New York in the Town of North Hempstead.
Did You Know? Plandome derives its name from the manor of Matthias Nicoll who was a mayor of New York City and was the first generation of the Nicoll family on Long Island for which there are numerous place names. The manor was torn down in 1998. The Almeron and Olive Smith House at 50 South Drive is dated to 1907 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
